Lately, I’ve been feeling torn.
My kids are growing up in a world where screens are everywhere — homework on tablets, cartoons on YouTube, even their friends exist partly through WhatsApp and Roblox.
I try to set screen-time limits, but then I feel guilty… like I’m cutting them off from the world their friends are part of. Yet, when I give in, I end up worrying that I’m letting the screens raise them.
Sometimes I miss the slower days — bikes, scraped knees, and real conversations at the dinner table.
I’m not here to judge anyone. I just want to know — how are other parents handling this balance?
Do you have rules that actually work? Or do you just go with your gut?
I’d love to hear from other moms and dads — maybe we can learn from each other.
